How to Change a Hayati Pro Ultra Plus Pod: Steps and Fixes
Lift the mouthpiece section out of the device, swap the pod and both containers as a set, then press it back down. That is how to change a Hayati Pro Ultra Plus pod. These steps fit the rechargeable Hayati Pro Ultra Plus 25K kit, not the older single-use Hayati Pro Ultra.
We found no Hayati manual online, so the steps match what two independent retailer guides describe. The leaflet in your pack has the final say. These pods contain nicotine, so check the strength printed on your pack. Nicotine is addictive. For adults aged 18 and over only.

Hayati Pro Ultra Plus or the older Hayati Pro Ultra: check which you have
The steps below fit the Pro Ultra Plus 25K only.
-
Fits: the rechargeable Hayati Pro Ultra Plus 25000 Prefilled Pod Kit, which takes a replaceable pod.
-
Does not fit: the original Hayati Pro Ultra. Retailers report it was a sealed device with no replaceable pod, and single-use vapes have been banned in the UK since 1 June 2025.
- Does not fit: other Hayati kits such as the Hayati Pro Max Plus 6000 Prefilled Pod Kit. It has its own pods.
Not sure which you own? Check the model name on the box or the device. The Plus screen shows the battery and an L or an R after a draw.
What is in a Hayati Pro Ultra Plus pod pack
One pack is one 2 ml prefilled pod and two 10 ml containers, one container for each flavour side. That adds up to 22 ml. Check the pack in your hand.
- One 2 ml pod with two mesh coils, one for each side. Mesh coils heat through a thin metal grid instead of a wound wire.
- Two 10 ml containers.
- No charging cable. Retailer listings say the cable is not in the box.
If you need a new pack, our Hayati Pro Ultra Plus 25K replacement pods page shows what we list.
How to change Hayati Pro Ultra Plus pod and containers, step by step
It takes five steps. Two retailer guides describe the same basic sequence. We found no written steps from Hayati.
- Lift the mouthpiece section, with the used pod in it, out of the device. Take out both containers too.
- Take the new pod and two containers from the pack. Peel off the stickers and pull out the silicone bungs.
- Match each container to its colour, then click the pod and containers together in the mouthpiece section.
- Fit the mouthpiece section and containers back into the device and press down.
- Draw on the mouthpiece to wake the device. The screen should show the battery and an L or an R.
Should you wait after fitting? There is no official wait time. Some retailers suggest a short pause, and we give no number. Check your leaflet.
The new pod and the new containers change together, as a set.
How to remove a used Hayati Pro Ultra Plus pod
Lift out the whole mouthpiece section first, because the pod comes out with it. Do not prise it apart to get the pod free. If it will not release, stop and contact us or Hayati. This is shop advice.
Can you refill a Hayati Pro Ultra Plus pod yourself?
No. You swap in a new pack. The two 10 ml containers are the refill, and they feed the pod once they are fitted. They are not a bottle for you to fill from.
Do not prise open, pierce or dismantle a pod, a container or the device. Some online guides tell readers to open the older Hayati Pro Ultra with a tool. Do not copy them. A forced part can leak or crack, and the device holds a rechargeable battery.
Hayati gives no bottle-filling steps that we could find. "Refillable" here means a replaceable pod pack and nothing more.
How to switch sides on a Hayati Pro Ultra Plus (left and right flavour)
Lift the mouthpiece, turn it half a turn, and push it back down.
- Lift the mouthpiece.
- Rotate it 180 degrees.
- Push it back down.
After your next draw, the screen shows L or R, so you know which side is in use.
Each side has its own container and its own coil. If the flavour is thin on one side only, that points to that side's container. This is shop advice.
When to change a Hayati Pro Ultra Plus pod
Change the pack when the flavour has gone on both sides, not after a set number of days. We give no day figures, because the ones online come from single sources.
These signs tell you the pack is spent (shop advice):
- One side has lost its flavour while the other still tastes right. That container may be empty.
- Both sides taste weak or flat.
- The taste turns harsh or burnt.
- The pod looks damaged or cracked.
Hayati's own figure is up to 25,000 puffs per pack, shared across both flavours. How you draw changes the result, so treat it as a top figure and not a promise.
Hayati Pro Ultra Plus faults: what to check first
Check the fit before anything else. A mouthpiece that is not fully down is the first thing to rule out.
Hayati publishes no fault guide that we could find, so everything in this section is shop advice or single-source retailer advice. Stop using the device if anything smells, tastes or looks wrong.
Hayati Pro Ultra Plus one side not working
Most often the mouthpiece is not fully down over that container, or that container is empty. This is retailer advice from one source.
- Press the mouthpiece fully down.
- Switch sides and draw again as a test.
- If the switched side works and the first one does not, that container may be empty.
Hayati Pro Ultra Plus E2 error
One retailer reads E2 as a pod that is not being picked up, usually from a poor connection. Hayati lists no codes that we could find.
- Lift out the mouthpiece section and refit it.
- Wipe any visible dust from the contacts with a dry cloth. Use no tools.
- Try a new pack if you have one.
If E2 stays, go to the help section below.
Hayati Pro Ultra Plus not charging
Swap the cable and the power source first. The cable is not in the box, so use a cable you trust.
- Try a different USB-C cable.
- Try a different plug or port.
- Look in the side port for debris and clear it without tools.
Hayati Pro Ultra Plus tastes burnt
Stop, and change the pack if one side is nearly empty or worn. Do not push through a burnt taste. One retailer says a burnt or weak taste usually means the container in use is nearly empty, and that fast, long draws can taste harsh. Our post on what to do when a pod tastes burnt goes further.

Hayati Pro Ultra Plus leaking
Check that the stickers and bungs are off and every part is fully seated. This is shop advice.
- Stickers and silicone bungs removed.
- Mouthpiece section pressed fully down.
- Device stored upright and away from heat.
For more, read our guide to fixing a leaking pod.
When to stop and ask for help with a Hayati Pro Ultra Plus
If a check does not work, stop and ask. Do not open the pod or the device.
- Stop using the device.
- Use the Hayati customer care page on Hayati's own site.
- Or email us at hello@shopdisposables.co.uk and tell us what you already tried.
Charging, storing and recycling a Hayati Pro Ultra Plus
Charge through the USB-C side port with a suitable USB power source, store the device upright, and recycle the battery and pods properly.
- Charge only through the USB-C port. Our charging a pod kit post covers the habits.
- Store it upright, away from heat.
- Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
- Recycle the device and used pods through a vape or electrical recycling route. Our post on recycling pod kits and batteries lists the routes.
For adults aged 18 and over only. These pods contain nicotine, so check the strength on your pack. Nicotine is addictive.
